Poland Travel Guides

Welcome to our Poland Travel Guides!

Poland is a remarkable country! From energetic cities home to hilltop castles, magnificent architecture and quirky cafes to incredible natural beauty where tranquil lakes, enchanting forests and dramatic mountain peaks scream for epic fresh-air fun!

History buffs will be in their element. Steeped in history, Poland is home to 15 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Explore the country’s museums and memorials that serve as a reminder of Poland’s tragic history during WWII; visit ancient castles once home to Poland’s royals and meander through spectacular chambers and passageways made entirely from salt in the world’s oldest operating salt mine!

For those who enjoy the fresh mountain air and a challenge, conquer Rysy Peak; the tallest peak in Poland in the Tatra National Park bordering Slovakia. If mountains aren’t your thing, maybe a stroll through the interior’s dense forests and along wide rivers sounds more up your street. Or, if you prefer water-based adventures, head to the shimmering lakes in the north which are ideal for kayaking and canoeing.

Polish cuisine is a cuisine like no other. Well, except maybe your Grandma’s…It’s known for being hearty, simple and the perfect comfort food. It’s absolutely delicious! Polish food is largely based on local ingredients such as mushrooms, potatoes, onions, sauerkraut, pork and duck. Expect huge portions and they’ll most likely be cooked to perfection with sour cream or butter. Don’t leave without trying the pierogies!
